Tree Bracing & Tree Cabling

Does your tree bend a little or maybe a lot during strong winds? Maybe by itself without receiving any damage? This is probably because your tree has a structural weakness or in general, the trunk isn’t strong enough to resist the stress damage from high winds or many other factors.

When this happens, many people decide to remove the tree to prevent it from falling on top of their properties. However, I’ve always told people that they should remove a tree only when it is the only option and it’s strictly necessary.

I know that a tree can be dangerous when it bends without a particular reason, and if we add strong winds or the weight of ice to the equation, we are aware that the tree can fall unexpectedly and cause damage to our property. However, a few methods can help our tree to stay in place and allow us to keep it instead of getting rid of it.

For example, the most used one nowadays is tree bracing & tree cabling. This method consists of installing steel brand cables and braces in the tree that will reduce the stress damage it receives from high winds, heavy foliage, or snow.

This process can be cheaper than removing the tree, in case you’re a bit worried about the price. If you didn’t know tree removal is expensive since it takes a lot of work, time, and effort. However, when it comes to tree bracing and cabling, you won’t have to spend too much money, especially if your tree isn’t too large.
